Patric Esters, M.Sc. is a psychotherapist and researcher based in Rotterdam. He graduated from UCR in 2012. In his clinical practice he supports internationals in English, German, Spanish, Dutch, Catalan and Portuguese. He also teaches and supervises psychologists. Recently he started facilitating groups in compassion cultivation training, designed by Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research.

During the ceremony, an intimate group of 27 students will receive their Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Of the graduating class, about half have a Dutch nationality, and in total 12 nationalities are represented. The majority of graduates will first take some time off and travel before continuing with a Master’s program, ranging from Marine Biology to Journalism and from International Relations to Medical Imaging . They expect to end up all over the world, for example Geneva, Australia and Tokyo, Japan although some will stay much closer and go to Wageningen or Utrecht.
