Scalda, HZ University of Applied Science and University College Roosevelt will build a research center with Innovative labs, (engineering, data sciences, chemistry and ecology) for innovative solutions. As of Fall 2021 students and faculty of all these postsecondary education institutions will be able to use the new facilities in conjuction with scientists from Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ) and Wageningen Marine Research.
