Currently, students take their Laboratory classes in the excellently equipped labs of the HZ University of Applied Sciences. Students interested in Life Science, Medicine, Chemistry, and many other disciplines will find themselves conducting experiments with state-of-the-art equipment under the supervision of highly skilled professors.
These laboratories are located in Vlissingen and can be reached by bike, train, or bus, all within 30 minutes.
As of 2021/2022, UCR will start using the Joint Research Center (JRC) in Middelburg, in collaboration with the HZ University of Applied Sciences and the vocational school Scalda. This means the Science and Engineering students will have their Laboratory classes closer to home, but also Engineering and Data Science courses will be taught in the sustainable new building with its large roof terrace.
