About me

I am Assistant Professor at the Science department of the University College Roosevelt with a demonstrated history of working in higher education in an academic and commercial setting. For instance, at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD (USA), Karolinska Institute, Stockholm (Sweden) and Luminex Corporation, Austin, TX (USA), I have obtained skills in vaccine development, life sciences and organic chemistry.
My current teaching and research at the University College Roosevelt involves Chemistry and Laboratory Science. In our current curriculum, the Science department offers a flexible program with interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary courses and projects. Here within, Chemistry plays an important role in for instance the fields of modeling, engineering and sustainability; with the Joint Research Facility offering new challenging opportunities. My main reason for teaching at the University College Roosevelt is my conviction that Liberal Arts & Science education is the most beneficial way for undergraduate students to prepare for a successful future career.
