University College Roosevelt uses a first-come, first-serve application system. This year, we are receiving more applications than previously. We strongly advise you to submit your application as soon as possible to avoid being placed on a waiting-list.
Your application process begins on the day we receive your completed application. However, there is a limitation on how soon or how late you may apply.
UCR maintains two starting points per academic year, at the start of the Fall semester (late August) and the Spring semester (late January). The majority of the students begin in the Fall semester.
Applicants are invited to apply anytime up to nine months before the semester in which they wish to enroll. To make things a little easier, we do have some admission deadlines. The whole process from the moment we receive an application takes approximately two months, not including the time it may take for some applicants’ visa application. This means the following:
Fall 2017: Applicants who wish to begin in the Fall semester: April 1st* / May 1st.
Applicants who wish to begin in the Spring semester: October 1st* / November 15th.
* The first deadline is for students who require a residence permit to study in the Netherlands, as this application process takes a little more time. For more information on residence permits, please consult our page Visa & Residence Permits.
Note that students applying late, risk being placed on the waiting-list.
Because UCR has its own selection procedure, students can still register in Studielink after May 1st.
