About me
Alexei Karas is an Associate professor of Economics and Director of Education at University College Roosevelt in Middelburg. He is also a Senior fellow at the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning of Utrecht University. He received an Economics degree from Urals State University of Economics (Yekaterinburg, Russia) in 2002, a M.Sc. in Banking and Finance from Ghent University in 2003, and a Ph.D. from Ghent University in 2008. His research focuses on banking and on higher education. He won the Utrecht University’s Outstanding Teacher Award for 2016-2017.
