My name is Rhodé van Driessen and I am 18 years old. I’m from Kapelle, which is actually fairly close to Middelburg!
I am currently really interested in all fields, specifically cognitive science, psychology and also law. Being able to explore all of these interests is the main reason I chose UCR. Another reason is the international environment, which is a wonderful experience!
After finishing my bachelor at UCR I will probably get a master’s degree in psychology, but I love how Liberal Arts and Sciences keeps all options open for me. I am currently in my first semester and to be honest, I don’t even want to think about leaving UCR and Middelburg yet. The atmosphere in Middelburg is amazing. The social life at UCR is great, and there is a social dynamic for every kind of person. If you like to party you’ll have fun here, but you can also just sit back with some friends and watch a movie or play games! Of course you’ll also need to study. Luckily, everyone here is happy to help you and study together with you. Being in a supportive and motivated area make UCR and Middelburg the perfect university experience for me.
