From the moment I stepped inside our beautiful building, I immediately knew that UCR was the University College program that I had been looking for. Middelburg is a beautiful city to live in; it has a buzzing city center where I can go for drinks with my friends, yet there is plenty of nature close by where I can go for a run.

I was looking for a Bachelor program that challenged me, not only on the level of academia, but also in the subjects that I could explore. Any other Law Bachelor program would not have been able to give me the experiences I have had at UCR. I feel more comfortable in a variety of different subjects that at times have intertwined in interdepartmental projects and have had the honor of being taught by wonderful professors.

Besides the building and the course offerings, the people here at UCR make me feel at home. My professors have allowed me to make valuable contacts with professionals who work in my field of interest, interesting guest lectures were given by people from all over the world that share their incredible stories, and my fellow students have supported me and pushed me just a bit further to reach the goals I want to achieve at UCR.

Besides gaining more experience in the world of academia, the university has allowed me to pursue other interests outside the classroom, such as being a dance instructor and working at the reception. It has taught me that hard work pays off, failure is there to learn from, and a small community can thrive if we all support each other.
