While graduating from high school I wasn’t sure where I wanted to continue my education. Eventually, I chose to come to Middelburg and I couldn’t have made a better decision. I was really surprised by how friendly people are here and how close together this little community is. The extent of internationality of this school is pretty amazing as well. Most of my friends have lived abroad or come from many different countries and they always have many interesting stories to share. Also, it never ceases to amaze me how knowledgeable and well-rounded my classmates are.

When it comes to academics, I really like the way in which you can design your own study program. You can choose from many different classes according to your needs and interests. All the classes I took in my first year were so interesting that it was hard for me to decide on my major. One of my favorite things here is also the possibility of spending a semester abroad. You can choose from hundreds of different universities from all around the world!

I live in the Bagijnhof campus, where you live with other students in a house in close proximity to the university. Sharing a house with 10 other students is a surprisingly pleasant and fun experience. In no time I have gained 10 new brothers and sisters. We cook and watch movies together. There is always someone to hang out with. I love living here.
