About me
I am Project Manager Engineering and Senior Policy Officer and started working at UCR in February 2019. In 2011 I defended my Ph.D. thesis (about The influence of the literary criticism on the appreciation of the literary past in the first half of the nineteenth century) at the University of Amsterdam. From 2008 until January 2019 I worked for the Dutch Research Council (NWO) in The Hague. I’m excited about the expansion of UCR with an Engineering Department and am delighted to be a part of the Engineering Team that builds the Department. Engineering within a Liberal Arts and Sciences environment can create lots of original and innovative cross overs between different disciplines. I’m looking forward to work together with partners outside of UCR (knowledge and educational institutes as well as companies and cultural organizations) and to strengthen the cooperation between UCR and relevant organizations, in particular within Zeeland.
