The Roosevelt Student Association aims to be a stimulating and outreaching community, through promoting contact between members, representing their interests, maintaining key traditions and providing a framework in which its members' initiatives and diversity can flourish.
RASA exists to support student initiatives. With a little help from RASA, students can put their ideas into practice. Film aficionados can join the film club, chess players can start a club with other chess fans, those who like organizing parties and events can join PartyCo or be the chair of the Culture Week team, and anyone may submit a plan for a new committee. RASA and the dynamism of student life at University College Roosevelt depends on students’ initiatives.
UCR students are members of a diverse and active community, whether having coffee or a drink in a local pub, joining one of the sports teams, attending theater performances (both by UCR students and at the local playhouses), or joining in any of the other activities on campus. Students can be as active in the UCR social network as they want, and with the help of RASA, the sky’s the limit: the UCR debate team could become internationally known, or the university’s King of the Channel team could take home the trophy again!
