SSC 277 - Introduction to European Law

Content

This course offers an introduction to the general principles of European law, its underlying sources, its institutional organization, its main legal fields, the legal aspects of the European freedoms, the way in which they work towards legal integration within the European Union and the underlying economic, philosophical and sociological questions. It also considers the way in which European law is created and modified. The assessments include a research paper, a moot court, case analysis and exams.
