The Four Freedoms Project
A qualitative approach to investigating the legacy of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms [Freedom from Want, Freedom from Fear, Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion] in the speeches of the award recipients in Middelburg since 1982. The research project focusses on the systematic analysis of the textual data in the Roosevelt Study Center archive using corpus and coding methods.
