 Dr. Anya Luscombe

Why I work at UCR: UCR is a truly stimulating environment. The students are keen to learn and they bring their energy and ideas to the classroom. It is a privilege to be able to work with small classes and often on a one-to-one basis with the future generations that will help shape our world.
What’s interesting about my discipline: Rhetoric, Academic English, media and journalism are just some of the courses in the discipline of Communication. Without communication, where would we be? Learning to send the right message and to analyze the messages others send us through a variety of means and media are vital skills for all citizens.
