About me
I am a lecturer in Academic Writing and Presenting as well as a tutor and Senior Tutor. My own academic background is in Germanic (English and German) Literature and Linguistics. When looking back at my own college experience, I have the fondest memories of my time as an MA student at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (USA). The small-scale interactive classes and the close contact with dedicated faculty there motivated me to push myself to excel and I therefore feel privileged to be able to help foster that same kind of stimulating learning environment at the University College Roosevelt, both as an instructor and as a tutor. As the latter position allows me to monitor students’ progress throughout their UCR careers, it provides me with an exciting opportunity to watch enterprising young people discover their own particular path in life.
